No ens enganyem: il\u00b7lustrar (en el sentit m\u00e9s ampli de la paraula) no \u00e9s f\u00e0cil, per\u00f2 la cosa es complica quan es tracta de donar forma visual a un concepte, a una idea, a un text que pot ser de qualsevol tema\u2026 \u00c9s un camp on les fronteres s\u00f3n difuses: fins on arriba? quin \u00e9s el seu abast? cobertes de llibres, portades de revistes, setmanaris, resum visual d\u2019una pon\u00e8ncia a un congr\u00e9s, imatge d\u2019acompanyament als titulars d\u2019un diari\u2026 Sovint \u00e9s una tasca que es fa sota pressi\u00f3: el temps moltes vegades juga en contra i, per descomptat, cal comprendre b\u00e9 la mat\u00e8ria primera: el contingut i el context.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:13.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">L\u2019obra es divideix en tres parts. En primer lloc, el <b>context<\/b>. Com b\u00e9 d\u00e8iem fa uns instants, el context \u00e9s la base. Aquest primer cap\u00edtol fa un breu rep\u00e0s hist\u00f2ric de la il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 com a eina pol\u00edtica i social, aix\u00ed com els diferents estils i moviments existents (exemples: expressionisme, pop art, art conceptual, etc.). Una il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 d\u2019aquestes caracter\u00edstiques ha de servir, entre d\u2019altres, per entendre millor el que tenim al davant i introduir-nos-hi, com quan veus el resum d\u2019un article. Per\u00f2 per al professional que hi ha al darrere implica una gran responsabilitat: hi ha una entitat\/empresa al darrere (el client) que pot trobar-se en un mal moment si la imatge fereix sensibilitats o \u00abtraspassa l\u00edmits\u00bb (tot un debat, el tema dels l\u00edmits!). Una imatge en discordan\u00e7a ens pot fer canviar la percepci\u00f3 que tenim d\u2019alguna cosa, o introduir-nos sense voler d\u2019una manera no volguda en un determinat tema. I una pregunta oberta: la recepci\u00f3 \u00e9s la mateixa que la intenci\u00f3 de l\u2019autor?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:13.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">La segona part parla del <b>contingut<\/b>, i se centra a enumerar les diferents menes d\u2019il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3, des de l\u2019hiperrealisme a la caricatura, passant per les infografies, retrats, reportatges gr\u00e0fics, c\u00f2mics, moda, etc. I de quina manera l\u2019humor es pot representar per diferents vies (s\u00e0tira, ironia, par\u00f2dia, sarcasme\u2026 no acabar\u00edem). L\u2019objectiu del llenguatge visual \u00e9s fer arribar un missatge: les vies i les formes per fer-ho s\u00f3n molt \u00e0mplies.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:13.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">La tercera i \u00faltima part s\u2019ocupa de la <b>creaci\u00f3<\/b>, i com aquesta ha de tenir una base \u00e8tica i evitar males pr\u00e0ctiques com el plagi. Aquesta tercera part tamb\u00e9 ofereix apunts\/consells per a les persones que es dediquen o es volen dedicar a la il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 editorial: crear-se una bona presentaci\u00f3, tenir pres\u00e8ncia a Internet i a les xarxes socials, autopublicar-se\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:13.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">Selby, l\u2019autor, posa \u00e8mfasi en el fet que aquesta no \u00e9s una feina solit\u00e0ria, malgrat que ho pugui semblar. S\u2019han de mantenir di\u00e0legs constants amb el client, entendre b\u00e9 qu\u00e8 demana i amb quins objectius, fer pluges d\u2019idees, provar diferents enfocaments\u2026 en definitiva, con\u00e8ixer b\u00e9 el client i l\u2019enc\u00e0rrec. Una cosa que funciona b\u00e9 \u00e9s treballar amb diverses idees, fer proves, variacions d\u2019un mateix concepte, provar amb diferents paletes de colors, postures del\/s personatge\/s\u2026 al final hi ha una opci\u00f3 que preval, que funciona m\u00e9s que les altres.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:13.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">L\u2019autor, Andy Selby, \u00e9s un professional amb m\u00e9s de trenta anys d\u2019experi\u00e8ncia dins el sector. Treballa per a editorials i ag\u00e8ncies de publicitat, ha participat en nombroses exposicions i mostres, i tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s autor de diversos articles i llibres sobre el tema. Fixem-nos en els llibres que hi ha a la venda en una llibreria: quants d\u2019ells tenen cobertes il\u00b7lustrades?
