Que un autor conegut i reconegut com Pierre Lemaitre \u2012guanyador del Premi Goncourt 2013\u2012, \u00e0mpliament tradu\u00eft tant en catal\u00e0 com en castell\u00e0 amb obres com <i>Recursos inhumans <\/i>(Bromera, 2017) o la s\u00e8rie del comissari Camille Verh\u0153ven, tregui un diccionari on aboca la seva passi\u00f3 de lector del g\u00e8nere paga la pena.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"text-autospace:ideograph-other\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">Poques vegades els lectors tenim l\u2019oportunitat de saber quines s\u00f3n les lectures preferides dels escriptors que llegim o quina opini\u00f3 els ha merescut tal o qual autor, i un diccionari com aquest es converteix en una veritable guia de lectura on el lector reafirmar\u00e0 opinions (o no), o l\u2019esperonar\u00e0 a descobrir novel\u00b7les i autors del quals tal vegada no hauria sabut mai de la seva exist\u00e8ncia. Un tipus d\u2019obra subjectiva que t\u00e9 sentit per la rellev\u00e0ncia de l\u2019autor, la d\u2019alg\u00fa que ha dedicat anys a la lectura i a l\u2019escriptura de novel\u00b7la negra i que sap de qu\u00e8 parla. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"text-autospace:ideograph-other\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">Pierre Lemaitre, en aquesta destacable obra, comparteix i desgrana passions lectores: assenyala autors, novel\u00b7les, personatges, algunes pel\u00b7l\u00edcules i s\u00e8ries televisives i termes destacats. Ja a la introducci\u00f3 remarca que hi haur\u00e0 \u00aboblits imperdonables, injust\u00edcies flagrants, valoracions discutibles\u00bb, ja que es tracta d\u2019un diccionari personal del que li agrada, on ni tan sols hi cap tot el que li agrada. Tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s inevitable que hi apareguin algunes f\u00f2bies \u2012la novel\u00b7la negra n\u00f2rdica, la persona de John Grisham\u2012; ressalti obres manifestament mal escrites \u2012<i>Fant\u00f4mas<\/i>\u2012; reconeix valoracions equivocades en un primer moment \u2012<i>El soterrani<\/i>, de Sandrine Collette (Alrev\u00e9s, 2019)\u2012; l\u2019avorriment provocat per personatges que d\u2019antuvi el van interessar \u2012Kay Scarpetta, de la Patricia Cornwell\u2012 i, sobretot, la passi\u00f3 per l\u2019obra d\u2019un munt d\u2019escriptors. Potser l\u2019\u00fanic que se li podria retreure \u00e9s el no haver aprofitat l\u2019entrada dedicada a la novel\u00b7la <i>The Ax<\/i>, de Donald E. Westlake, per admetre el deute que t\u00e9 <i>Recursos inhumans <\/i>amb la novel\u00b7la de l\u2019autor nord-americ\u00e0<i>.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"text-autospace:ideograph-other\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">Ara b\u00e9, dit aix\u00f2 i que les notes de lectura de Lemaitre s\u00f3n realment estimulants, a vegades divertides i sempre intel\u00b7ligents, anem a centrar-nos en aquesta edici\u00f3 en concret. D\u2019entrada sorpr\u00e8n la difer\u00e8ncia de paginaci\u00f3 de l\u2019edici\u00f3 espanyola respecte de la francesa. No estem parlant de cinquanta p\u00e0gines amunt o avall&#8230; estem parlant de tres-centes p\u00e0gines menys! Confrontem \u00edndexs: dues-centes quaranta-cinc entrades a l\u2019edici\u00f3 francesa i cent noranta-cinc a la espanyola, un vint per cent menys. Sense cap nota aclaridora.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"text-autospace:ideograph-other\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">La hist\u00f2ria de la traducci\u00f3 de novel\u00b7la negra i polic\u00edaca al llarg del segle <span style=\"font-variant:small-caps\">XX<\/span> \u00e9s, malauradament, plena d\u2019incomptables maltractes i mutilacions. En ser publicacions a baix preu destinades a un p\u00fablic popular, s\u2019havia de retallar costos, a vegades amb la desaparici\u00f3 de cap\u00edtols sencers; un fet que ha desvirtuat algunes obres mestres. Ara, en ple segle <span style=\"font-variant:small-caps\">XXI<\/span>, quan aquesta literatura s\u2019ha revalorat les darreres d\u00e8cades, sorpr\u00e8n que una editorial com Salamandra \u2012del grup Penguin Random House\u2012 es responsabilitzi d\u2019una mala praxi editorial que pens\u00e0vem que havia quedat enrere.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"text-autospace:ideograph-other\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">La primera justificaci\u00f3 que podria donar l\u2019editorial \u2012que no en dona cap\u2012 \u00e9s que, sent una obra creada per al p\u00fablic franc\u00e8s, calia adaptar-la als coneixements del lector de parla castellana, eliminant les entrades d\u2019autors francesos no publicats a Espanya o molt centrades en temes culturals francesos. Una q\u00fcesti\u00f3 que, per exemple, ni els va passar pel cap a Mondadori a l\u2019hora editar-lo l\u2019any passat a It\u00e0lia com <i>Il giallo secondo me: dizionario d\u2019autore dalla <span style=\"font-variant:small-caps\">a<\/span> alla <span style=\"font-variant:small-caps\">z<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-variant:small-caps\">. <\/span>Com d\u00e8iem, si aquesta fos la justificaci\u00f3 costaria d\u2019entendre, sobretot perqu\u00e8 s\u2019han mantingut entrades d\u2019autors no publicats a Espanya mentre que se n\u2019han eliminat d\u2019altres que podem trobar en castell\u00e0, com per exemple Marcus Malte \u2012suposem perqu\u00e8 aqu\u00ed Alea li va publicar una novel\u00b7la amb el mateix t\u00edtol original, <i>Garden of love<\/i>\u2012; <span style=\"text-transform:uppercase\">doa <\/span><span style=\"font-variant:small-caps\">\u2012<\/span>autor junt amb Dominique Manotti de <i>La honorable sociedad <\/i>editada per El Aleph\u2012, o les entrades dedicades a <i>Un nomm\u00e9 Louis Beretti<\/i>, sobre la novel\u00b7la de g\u00e0ngsters de Donald Henderson Clarke amb edici\u00f3 a Bruguera com <i>Un hombre llamado Louis Beretti<\/i>; a <i>Combats de coqs<\/i>, novel\u00b7la del gran Charles Willeford que va publicar Sajal\u00edn com <i>Gallo de pelea<\/i>, i fins i tot a <i>La cinqui\u00e8me femme<\/i>, una de les millors novel\u00b7les de la s\u00e8rie Wallander de Henning Mankell, editada per Tusquets. S\u2019han mantingut les entrades dedicades a la col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 \u00abS\u00e9rie Noire\u00bb de Gallimard o al Premi Goncourt, per\u00f2 han desaparegut les destinades a l\u2019editorial Gallmeister \u2012actualment una de les m\u00e9s interessants del panorama franc\u00e8s\u2012, a la llibreria parisenca l\u2019Amour du Noir, al premi Quai des Orf\u00e8vres o al gran dissenyador de cobertes Jean-Claude Claeys.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"text-autospace:ideograph-other\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">Sembla agosarat per part de Salamandra eliminar entrades d\u2019autors i t\u00edtols d\u2019un diccionari perqu\u00e8 avui no siguin al nostre mercat, en un m\u00f3n editorial que \u00e9s en constant moviment. Alguns que s\u00f3n presents al diccionari, com Franck Bouysse, hi acaben d\u2019entrar, altres hi podrien apar\u00e8ixer dem\u00e0 qui sap si gr\u00e0cies a editors sedu\u00efts per la lectura de determinada entrada d\u2019aquest diccionari. Per acabar, trobem a faltar una nota aclaridora que previngui el lector que \u00e9s davant d\u2019una obra mutilada, l\u2019autoria de la \u00abselecci\u00f3\u00bb i una explicaci\u00f3 dels criteris emprats per decidir quines entrades s\u2019eliminen, i tampoc estaria malament explicar per qu\u00e8 s\u2019han excl\u00f2s les cinc p\u00e0gines de bibliografia que podrien donar pistes no tan sols de quines novel\u00b7les llegeix Lemaitre, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 de quins assaigs. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"text-autospace:ideograph-other\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">\u00c9s una veritable ll\u00e0stima que la passi\u00f3 per la novel\u00b7la negra de Pierre Lemaitre no s\u2019hagi vist corresposta amb l\u2019edici\u00f3 de Salamandra, que promociona l\u2019amputat diccionari amb la frase \u00abuna visi\u00f3n completa, absolutamente personal y muy divertida del g\u00e9nero negro, por uno de los escritores europeos m\u00e1s prestigiosos y populares\u00bb.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"text-autospace:ideograph-other\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jordicanalartigas.cat\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span lang=\"CA\" style=\"color:#0563c1\">Jordi Canal<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lemaitre, Pierre.
