Quin \u00e9s el reconeixement dels llibres cient\u00edfics en el sistema d\u2019avaluaci\u00f3? Des de l\u2019any 2008, el <a href=\"http:\/\/ilia.cchs.csic.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n sobre el Libro Acad\u00e9mico (ILIA)<\/a> del <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csic.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas (CSIC)<\/a>&nbsp;ha impulsat una l\u00ednia de recerca per respondre aquestes q\u00fcestions. A m\u00e9s de nombroses publicacions cient\u00edfiques i diversos projectes competitius, la investigaci\u00f3 del grup ha perm\u00e8s la creaci\u00f3 del sistema d\u2019informaci\u00f3 <a href=\"http:\/\/ilia.cchs.csic.es\/SPI\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Scholarly publishers indicators<\/em> (SPI)<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Els objectius del sistema SPI s\u00f3n, en primer lloc, millorar el coneixement del sector editorial de llibres en ci\u00e8ncies socials i humanitats i, en segon lloc, obtenir informaci\u00f3 objectiva mitjan\u00e7ant metodologies cient\u00edfiques. D\u2019aquesta manera, tamb\u00e9 s\u2019afavoreix el reconeixement cient\u00edfic dels llibres publicats a l\u2019Estat espanyol. De fet, l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aneca.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Agencia Nacional de Evaluaci\u00f3n de la Calidad y Acreditaci\u00f3n (ANECA)<\/a>&nbsp;ja utilitza el sistema SPI com a font d\u2019informaci\u00f3 de suport en els processos d\u2019avaluaci\u00f3 cient\u00edfica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">L\u2019informe <em>La edici\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica espa\u00f1ola: indicadores y caracter\u00edsticas&nbsp;<\/em>\u00e9s una iniciativa patrocinada per la <a href=\"http:\/\/federacioneditores.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Federaci\u00f3n del Gremio de Editores de Espa\u00f1a<\/a>, ha estat elaborat per Elea Gim\u00e9nez Toledo (<a href=\"http:\/\/ilia.cchs.csic.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Grupo ILIA<\/a>) i s\u2019adre\u00e7a a editors, autors, avaluadors i institucions vinculades amb pol\u00edtiques del llibre. El document ressenyat aqu\u00ed amplia l\u2019abast del sistema SPI, perqu\u00e8 incorpora un conjunt m\u00e9s gran d\u2019informaci\u00f3 i estudia editorials amb publicacions de ci\u00e8ncies, tecnologia i medicina. Els indicadors, informacions i classificacions de les editorials acad\u00e8miques es poden consultar de forma desagregada a la p\u00e0gina web <em><a href=\"http:\/\/ilia.cchs.csic.es\/SPI\/spi-fgee\" target=\"_blank\">SPI: edici\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica espa\u00f1ola<\/a><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Des d\u2019una perspectiva panor\u00e0mica, l\u2019informe estudia el sector editorial cient\u00edfic i acad\u00e8mic de l\u2019Estat espanyol a partir de diferents aproximacions i dades. Fins ara, no hi havia cap an\u00e0lisi global de l\u2019edici\u00f3 p\u00fablica i privada en aquest sector. Segurament, les dues dimensions m\u00e9s interessants de l\u2019estudi s\u00f3n les relacionades amb, per un costat, la qualitat editorial i, per l\u2019altre, la definici\u00f3 i delimitaci\u00f3 de les editorials especialitzades.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">En relaci\u00f3 a la qualitat d\u2019una editorial, l\u2019informe demostra que es tracta d\u2019un concepte complex i que no es pot establir en termes absoluts ni a trav\u00e9s d\u2019una variable \u00fanica. Ara b\u00e9, existeixen algunes variables que poden ajudar a explicar la qualitat d\u2019una editorial: nivell d\u2019emplenament de metadades de mat\u00e8ria a les plataformes espanyoles&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dilve.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">DILVE<\/a> i <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mecd.gob.es\/cultura-mecd\/areas-cultura\/libro\/bases-de-datos-del-isbn.html\" target=\"_blank\">ISBN<\/a>, grau de dedicaci\u00f3 al llibre cient\u00edfic, agrupaci\u00f3 de la producci\u00f3 editorial en col\u00b7leccions, producci\u00f3 per disciplines cient\u00edfiques, especialitzaci\u00f3 de les editorials, prestigi segons el sistema SPI i, finalment, procediments de selecci\u00f3 d\u2019originals (tipologia i transpar\u00e8ncia). Els resultats que ofereix l\u2019informe s\u2019han obtingut a partir de metodologies estandarditzades com, per exemple, la mineria de dades, els q\u00fcestionaris estructurats i, finalment, l\u2019an\u00e0lisi dels llocs web d\u2019editorials acad\u00e8miques.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Pel que fa al concepte d\u2019editorial acad\u00e8mica\/cient\u00edfica, l\u2019informe tamb\u00e9 constata que es tracta d\u2019una definici\u00f3 complicada. En conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, la delimitaci\u00f3 de les editorials que integren aquest estudi \u00e9s objecte d\u2019an\u00e0lisi en un apartat espec\u00edfic. Aix\u00ed, s\u2019ha treballat amb un conjunt inicial de m\u00e9s de 700 editorials que reuneixen alguna caracter\u00edstica de l\u2019edici\u00f3 acad\u00e8mica. Les an\u00e0lisis realitzades i els indicadors obtinguts (volum editorial, grau de dedicaci\u00f3, col\u00b7leccions, especialitzaci\u00f3, prestigi, transpar\u00e8ncia informativa) han perm\u00e8s acotar progressivament els nuclis d\u2019editorials que realment presenten un perfil cient\u00edfic\/acad\u00e8mic i diferenciar-les de les especialitzades en alta divulgaci\u00f3 o assaig, entre altres \u00e0rees. L\u2019informe conclou que \u00e9s imprescindible una aproximaci\u00f3 qualitativa s\u00f2lida per diferenciar les editorials acad\u00e8miques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">A tall de conclusi\u00f3, un 20 % de la producci\u00f3 editorial espanyola correspon a l\u2019\u00e0mbit acad\u00e8mic, fet que demostra una activitat intensa per part de les editorials en aquest \u00e0mbit, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 per part de la comunitat cient\u00edfica per publicar resultats en format de llibres.
