I am a professor in the Department of Library and Information Science & Audiovisual Communication at the University of Barcelona where I teach several a courses on scientific information and research methods in LIS.

My research interests focus on scholarly communication and scientists' information behaviour in the digital environment. My research deals with the use of scientific electronic resources, how researchers manage information for research purposes, data sharing and the use social media in research settings.

I am a member of the Research Centre for Information, Communication and Culture.
