Investigadora postdoctoral “Juan de la Cierva” a la Facultat d'Informació i Mitjans Audiovisuals de la Universitat de Barcelona. Graduada en Antropologia Social i Cultural, amb un màster en Estudis Internacionals sobre Mitjans, Poder i Diversitat, i doctora en Comunicació.
Forma part del Centre de Recerca en Informació, Comunicació i Cultura (CRICC), on treballa dins de la línia de recerca en gènere, inclusió i diversitats en informació, comunicació i cultura. Particularment, és investigadora dins dels projectes I+D+I TRANSGELIT (Transmedia Gender & LGTBI+ Literacy) i W&W (Women and Wikipedia: analysis of the gender gap in the co-production of knowledge in the Wikipedias of Spain). També està vinculada al projecte I+D+I COMPASS (Lobbying and Compassion. Interest groups, discourse and nonhuman animals in Spain) al Departament de Comunicació de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra i és membre del UPF-Centre for Animal Ethics.
Principals línies de recerca: Comunicació audiovisual i mitjans, estudis de gènere i LGTBI+, estudis crítics animals, estudis dels moviments socials, antropologia social i cultural, mètodes qualitatius.
