On June 5, 2024 will take place the II International GLAM Wiki and Gender Day: exploring the possibilities of Wikimedia projects in the world of libraries, archives and museums with a gender perspective.
– Location: Aula Rubió (210) of the Facultat d’Informació i Mitjans Audiovisuals
– Date: Wednesday, June 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
In the morning, the day will feature the participation of the British Library’s resident Wikipedian, Lucy Hinnie, followed by the head of digital development at the Prado Museum, Javier Pantoja, and will continue with a researcher of linked open data and literary content, Marta Delatte.
At noon there will be a round table with the presidents of the wikipedias in the official languages of Spain: Catalan, Basque, Spanish and Galician.
The morning will close with the head of gender programs at the Wikimedia Foundation.
In the afternoon, the results of the Women and Wikipedia project, which closes this summer, will be presented to various associations of women editors. Data will be discussed to advance the analysis.
