This new book has been published in the framework of the Erasmus + CODICIS project and was presented at the Symposium on Library Cooperation in the Heritage Field held in Puebla on November 27-30, 2023.
The book compiles works that have as a common nexus the interest in the early modern world of Puebla. In studies on written culture and reading, the universe of books in circulation has been the object of notable interest, offering a panoramic view of texts that go from hand to hand, searching for the reader. In these multiple transmissions of texts, from manuscript to print, from one edition to another, from bookstores to readers’ shelves, this book deals with the Atlantic circuits of printed book distribution. It is a study focused on the titles that entered the first circuits of globalization of the European book in the American market. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
