On October 17, 2024, the first meeting of the I+D+i KALEIDOSCOPE project, «Observatory of Sexualities, Youth and Media: identify needs and propose solutions for young people and professionals of education, health and media», co-led by the researchers of the CRICC Maria-Jose Masanet and Sergio Villanueva.
This project has been funded with 100,000 € in the latest call for I+D+i projects of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the State Research Agency and will be carried out between 2024 and 2028. The project involves researchers from the University of Barcelona, the Deusto University and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Also social agents and activists of the Colectivo Gamá LGTB, the Youth Center for Sexuality Care (Cjas) and the feminist cooperative Sudergintza.
KALEIDOSCOPE aims at the creation of the Observatory of Youth, Sexualities and Media and the elaboration of its strategic plan 2027-2037 through an action-participative research process that will combine quantitative and qualitative research methods and will have a transdisciplinary and intersectional approach.
