Professor Mario Pérez-Montoro, CRICC researcher, has published together with other researchers from the BSC-CNC (Barcelona Supercomputing – Centro Nacional de Computación) the article “Analysing environmental opinion using highly customisable visualisation tools to understand citizens’ attitudes and barriers” in the journal Scientific Reports of Nature (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-024-54457-3).
This work analyses and presents a visual communication tool for the analysis of public opinion on environmental issues, aimed at public administrations and institutions. The study makes clear that better visualisation of public opinion data will, in turn, better support the development of policies shaped by citizens’ concerns.
